Understand how one sector can help the other
Joint work between HR and Internal communication It makes a big difference for the company and develops work that encourages innovation, creativity, cost reduction, quality of life, recognition and everything that involves Internal Marketing in corporations.
“I already had an experience where I worked in a Marketing department and the greatest support I had for developing internal communication actions was from HR, who saw the need for this type of action to make the environment more harmonious and pleasant for employees. This support from the HR team was essential for me to be able to propose projects to the Board and implement actions that soon generated excellent results. Therefore, I would say that it is even a matter of combining forces and knowledge to guarantee the best possible performance”, says Journalist Thaise Saeter.
A survey developed by Social Base shows that 60% of managers Human Resources say they do not have adequate programs to measure and improve employee engagement in the companies where they work. In addition to the diverse demands of HR, the sector also functions as a strategic area to deal with medium to long-term objectives and I take on functions that are often outside its area of competence, such as tasks in the Communication sector.
“In addition to causing HR professionals to overload their work, this practice often generates ineffective actions. And this wastes time and resources, as a professional spends hours dedicated to activities that they do not master and have no motivation to do. I believe that this is not widespread, there are many professionals in the human resources area who are extremely qualified to develop communication actions, however, with the support of a team specialized in Marketing it is possible to do more assertive work.”, says the Journalist.
For Roberta Omeltech, planning is essential in leaner teams to ensure assertiveness, agility and clarity. Having well-defined objectives and clear goals so that expectations are aligned is very important for HR to be able to carry out functions and actions. The specialist also emphasizes the importance of the two sectors working together for clear communication. “Clear communication allows everyone to feel part of the organization, the popular thing: wearing the shirt. People like it and want to feel part of it. No one likes to be the “last to know” clear communication brings engagement, avoids “noise” and brings people together”, says Roberta Omeltech.
